Now each of the two major American political parties, Republicans and Democrats, has an honor roll and black list of its presidents, rating from good to bad. For example, the Republicans have an idol and a role model in Ronald Reagan, while utterly trying to forget Richard Nixon. The Democrats have JFK, and...Jimmy Carter. The fact is, both parties, conservative or liberal, have their loves, likes, and dislikes of presidents from their parties and this post was made for users to post who they feel was the best member, so to speak, of EACH party. Reasons can be factual/statistic, or be emotional and from the heart, and with the passing of a great American president, I hope people can put in a dime of their thoughts in.

My opinion:

Republicans : Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, and Ronald Reagan

Democrats : Grover Cleveland, Franklin Roosevelt, John F Kennedy, and Bill Clinton

I don't think Lincoln, Cleveland, T. Roosevelt should count because that was so long ago and the parties have changed much since then. Although the parties like to think they have them on their side, they may not have been. Personally, I don't like Eisenhower or Reagan, and I think Kennedy is overated.
